Fantasy Dungeon
An isometric dungeon kit. Floors, walls, doors, stairs, props and light, all rendered on one canvas with one anchor, so they line up with no per sprite offsets. The whole set ships twice, once in cold stone and once in warm sandstone.
These are smooth shaded 3D renders rather than pixel art. Lighting is baked into every sprite, and rune glows, flames, lava and potions are emissive, so nothing needs dynamic lighting to look right.
Floor tops sit at ground level and walls and props stand directly on them. Props carry a soft contact shadow so nothing floats; floors, walls, doors and stairs do not, because they are structure rather than objects standing on a tile.
- Sprites
- 172 PNGs: one set of 86 sprites in two complete colour themes. Each set is 71 tiles and props, 3 light pools and 12 frames for the four flame animations
- Tile
- 128×64 px diamond, 2:1 isometric. One floor tile is one world unit
- Canvas
- 256×256 transparent PNG, 32 sample render, edge colour bled so there are no dark halos
- Anchor
- Tile centre on the ground at (128, 175.03) from the top left, the same for every sprite
- Pieces
- 13 floors, left and right facing walls in 9 kinds, a back corner and an outward post, doors open closed and empty, four stair directions, and 28 props including two pillars
- Trimmed set
- Every sprite again as a tight crop, with the offsets in the atlas JSON
- Atlas
- 987×1104 sheet with TexturePacker JSON Hash, a simple JSON, and an animations JSON
- Tiled
- A ready made .tsx tileset with the isometric tile offsets already set
- Viewer
- A page that opens in any browser with no server: browse every sprite, play the flame animations, look at the room and switch themes in place
- Example
- compose_room.py builds the preview room from the JSON and shows every placement rule in 140 lines
- Licence
- Use in commercial and non commercial projects, no credit required. The art itself isn't for reselling
