01: Things we made

Apex Survivor on turn 28 in the Mountains: vitals and the log on the left, a half-uncovered map in the centre with the hunter's tile lit red directly above the player and the radio tower far off in the top corner, the meter under the map full and reading Right there, and the actions and a kit holding the radio battery on the right.
Released Build 0.17 Web Saves in-browser

Apex Survivor

Nobody knows his business. Nobody knows why he's out here. But everybody who's crossed his ground knows one thing: he lives to hunt. He moves swiftly. Silently. He doesn't tire. He doesn't stop. He was already close before you knew to be afraid. Four biomes. One radio. One tower. And him. He pathfinds, so walking into a dead end is a real way to die.

Homebase HQ's results screen: a total F.O.R.T. of 11,094 in large amber figures, four dials for Fortitude, Offense, Resistance and Tech, each squad's contribution listed beside it, and a list of what to fix first underneath.
Released v1.7.1 Windows Free

Homebase HQ

A survivor squad optimiser for Fortnite: Save the World. Drop in the survivors you own and it works out the strongest arrangement across all eight squads, what to fix first, and which upgrade to spend your materials on next, all from the game's own data. Windows desktop app. Free, works offline, no login. Not affiliated with Epic Games.

In progress Build 1.3.5 Web No engine, no build step

Junk Orbit

Nobody put him here. Nobody's watching. Hully has a thruster and it was never enough to leave, so he cleans his patch of space, because it's something to do. Hook a wreck. Swing off its mass. Let go at the right moment. Range pays up to 5x, which means the safe throw is almost always the wrong one.

02: Asset packs

Sprites and tiles for other people to build with. Ten packs are finished and one goes out every Wednesday. Fathom, Ironwood and Pyre are out, and these four have pages so far.

The Halloween sale is on until the morning of 5 November: Fathom and Pyre are $3.50 each and Ironwood is $8.40, with a better price for all three.

Fathom: an underwater pixel art scene with a shark, a manta ray, a turtle, jellyfish and a dozen fish swimming through kelp and light shafts above a sandy seabed of coral, anemones, a starfish and a chest.
Released 169 objects 33 creatures PNG + atlas JSON

Fathom

A complete underwater kit. Fish, crustaceans, coral, wreckage, tilesets, parallax backgrounds, particles and interface icons, all on one palette and lit from the same direction, so anything you drop next to anything else looks like it belongs there. The 33 creatures each come with their own animation strip.

Ironwood: a pixel art dojo with staffs, polearms, swords and short weapons mounted in rows on the shoji wall, and three practitioners on the timber floor below holding a bo, a katana and a sai.
Released 75 weapons 12 traditions PNG + JSON

Ironwood

Martial arts weapons from twelve traditions, every one credited to where it comes from. Each ships twice, pointing right at true length for use in hand and on the diagonal for inventory, and each carries a grip point so putting a weapon in a hand is one subtraction rather than a morning of nudging. Plus 96 enchanted variants, a practitioner in 8 poses and a dojo to stand them in.

Pyre: ten pixel art fires on a dark ground. Blue, green and purple flames, an explosion and a fireball along the top, and burning ground, a campfire, a tall bonfire, a brazier and a torch standing along the bottom.
Released 17 types 286 frames PNG + Aseprite JSON

Pyre

Animated fire, smoke and explosion sprites. Camp and bonfires, torches, candles, braziers, burning ground, forge coals, blue and green and purple magic fire, smoke, steam, a fireball, a will-o-wisp, an explosion, a flamethrower jet and floating embers. Every looping type runs its last frame straight back into its first, so you can set it going and leave it.

An isometric dungeon room with stone floors and walls, a bookshelf, a barrel, a table with candles, a lit brazier on a tiled dais, a red banner and a skeleton on the floor.
Not out yet 172 sprites 2 themes PNG + Tiled

Fantasy Dungeon

An isometric dungeon kit, in smooth shaded renders rather than pixel art. Floors, walls, doors, stairs, props and light, every piece on one canvas with one anchor so they line up with no per sprite offsets. The whole set ships twice, once in cold stone and once in warm sandstone, and opens with a browser viewer that needs no server.
